After suffering for 27 years of back pain and sciatica and five major spine surgeries. I have seen many physios over the years who gave me the wrong treatments and no faith in them and let me down and becoming hopeless. I was lucky to find Post Op Home Physio, the process was very easy especially having home visits and saving on fares I got good information from MARK who set everything up for me. And was very surprised and happy that THEO arrived who is very knowledgeable and at last felt that I was listened to and felt in safe hands. I just wished I would have seen him sooner. Theo my physio was extremely knowledgeable and took time to carefully assess my condition giving both physical manipulation and specific exercises to help me walk and ease the pain. Jitendra Pattani21 March 2026Hip and Spinal Surgery Rehabilitation I had a hip replacement in June 2023 and subsequently suffered a spinal stroke in January 2024 as a result of severe cervical spine cord compression and underwent a major cervical spine laminectomy involving posterior cervical fixation from C2 to T2. In layman terms, my legs were effectively paralysed, and I had a complete loss of independence. I could not walk, leave the home or do anything independently without support. For someone who has always been very independent this was a very challenging time for me, both physically and mentally. Julia Unsworth was part of my physio team for my recovery journey and from the outset, I was very impressed by her caring approach and knowledge of physiotherapy. Julia worked collaboratively with other members of the team during my recovery journey after I was discharged from hospital in February 2024. As a result of her invaluable guidance and motivational support I am independent again today and able to do everything I took for granted prior to suffering the spinal stroke. I cannot thank Julia enough for working so closely with me and other members of my medical team to restore my mobility and independence. I would have no hesitation in recommending Julia. After surgery to pin my femur back together, I was in pain with very limited mobility, so I chose PostOp Home Physio precisely because of their focus on recovering from surgery at home. Felicitas was brilliant - thoughtful, caring, focused, tailoring the programme to my individual needs with clear goals in view, which she adjusted from session to session depending on progress. She always explained clearly what she was doing and why, and what I should be aiming for. Result: two months after the accident I am almost back to normal. Erik van Kaathoven24 July 2025Following a total knee replacement, I was looking for a home visit physio given expected limited mobility post op rather than having to travel somewhere. Mark at Post Op Home Physio initially came 2x weekly (and later once a week) and provided me with an exercise programme, a great app with video explanations of the exercises, and balanced this with massage, manipulation and advice, all in the comfort of my own home. It was very helpful Mark could share his experience of recovery of other knee replacement patients and also could provide a physiolab icemachine at a very competitive price. I’m sure my recovery would have been a lot slower without Mark’s help. I would highly recommend Mark and Post Op Home Physio to anybody seeking to recover post op or from an injury.Posted on Google

Starting my treatment before the operation they have guided me through every step of the process - including helping me hire a physiolab machine, and giving me a challenging but achievable rehab programme that has left me fitter than I was before the op. Having them visit at home in the days after the surgery was really reassuring and convenient. Ben has been brilliant at working at my pace but making sure I am pushing myself to achieve a really strong recovery, to have clear goals about what I want and a workable programme to get me there. Julia Unsworth took care of me through my rehabilitation over the next few months, initially visiting twice a week to help me through that really tough initial phase. My outcomes were really good - in terms of recovery, flexion/straightening and gradual strength/stability. Julia constantly evolved the rehab exercises that I had to complete between visits and this helped accelerate my recovery. Six months on I have pretty much begun full training again undertaking HIIT classes at F45. Highly recommended due to specific knowledge and experience of this type of rehabilitation. RAW3 July 2025Following an initial assessment I engaged Ben to come to my home for 5 post operative physio sessions after a spinal decompression, laminectomy and fusion. I found him to be professional, caring and extremely helpful with my recovery. His exercises were always tailored to what we collaboratively felt appropriate and they always pushed me to move forward with my strength and mobility. Being seen at home was so convenient and I was given the greatest confidence in the regime he devised (and constantly adjusted) which helped keep me on the straight and narrow and fully focused on getting back to normal as quickly as possible. Simon Forsdyke20 August 2024I chose Adam as I had received great feedback from my mother in law and I was not disappointed. It would be fair to say my movement was very limited following a broken femur. Adam started me off on lots of exercises to initially improve movement. It wasn’t easy, but Adam was very encouraging and supportive. He assured me, with effort, week on week improvement would come and it did. I never thought I would ever do that leg lift but we got there! We had some tight deadlines to hit in order for me to go on holiday but we made it, and he was able to reassure me that the leg would not overly hinder the week away. Simon7 August 2024Having had my ACL reconstructed 15 years ago with limited NHS physio afterwards, I was determined to not make the same mistakes with my recent medial meniscectomy which was carried out on the same knee. I contacted Post Op Physio a few weeks before my operation and have been nothing but impressed since the first contact. Julia came to my house for an initial assessment and I booked the x5 package. Each session was carefully considered and I have learned to use muscles I didn’t know I had. Julia’s approach was incredibly professional, her knowledge and understanding of how to help me grow in strength each session was remarkable and after the six meetings I have had, I am finally pain free and able to play golf again which was my number one goal. The most impressive thing to me was that I always felt Julia genuinely cared about my rehabilitation and gave me the confidence to keep improving. I had a partial knee replacement in October and my specialist recommended Post Op Physio. From the start, they were so efficient and helpdul. Aaron was my physiotherapist and he came to my home each week for 10 sessions. I can honestly say, I have never had such a great physio (and I have had many over the years). Aaron managed to get my knee bending - slowly at first, but by gentle manipulation, Aaron helped me bend it to just over 120 degrees. I also had an app on my phone which Aaron updated weekly for me so I could have a programme to do at home. I also thought it was great when Aaron was on annual leave, Mark came in his place to ensure I didn't miss my session. Aaron was my therapist and from the outset he was very accommodating. It was very easy to get an initial meeting, after explaining my injury/surger Aaron came to see me within a few days of making contact. His mobilisation massage was incredible and helped me get movement and flexibility back into my foot as quickly as possible. Aaron gave me a simple programme that he updated every week when we had our session as I got stronger and more able to complete the exercises. He also put me in contact with a great Hydrotherapy team, which I would strongly recommend as a supplement to any physio programme. Importantly, Aaron was very attentive to my needs and removed exercises from my programme that were too challenging for me or overly painful. After about 15 sessions Aaron felt that he had taken me on my journey about as far as he could and recommended a more advanced sports physio for me to attend which I am continuing with. Julia helped give her confidence to manage the stairs and walk outside, which she'd not done in ages! Mandy Reid14 July 2023Prior to having Total Knee Replacement Surgery in March I was advised that the two most important things to have in place to ensure the best possible recovery post op, were a good physio and an ice machine (for the first few weeks). Mark Wilkinson from Post Op Home Physio came highly recommended by my surgeon. Mark arranged for the ice machine to be delivered on the same day as his first visit (4 days after surgery). He assessed my situation and made a plan for my rehabilitation. Mark is an excellent Physio. He is organised, professional and supportive and has guided me through my home physio sessions and managed my expectations. He helped me understand why it was vital to be patient and appreciate the healing taking place following a total knee replacement. With this in mind at eighteen weeks post op I am moving well, doing lots of walking, very gentle cycling in the gym and follow the exercises he has given me which will help as I go forward and continue with my recovery. Easy to contact, convenient way of payments and reachable when required to communicate. The physiotherapist (Adam) was an excellent and very experienced physio, always punctual and provided a written report about the recovery progress before my mum went to see her surgeon for post op follow up. My mum was 100% happy with the care and sessions she had with her physiotherapist. I definitely recommend Post Op Home Physio to others.
