Senior Orthopaedic / MSK Home Visit Physiotherapist
Contract type – Permanent – Full time
Job description
Post Op Home Physio is one of London’s leading home physio services, covering all London boroughs and specialising in helping clients recover from orthopaedic surgery. We are looking for an experienced orthopaedic physiotherapist to join our friendly team.
You will be a confident practitioner who can manage their time. You will have an extensive background in orthopaedic physiotherapy, have current HCPC and CSP registration, and a keen interest in continued professional development. You will have a friendly manner, enjoy working independently, and be willing to travel throughout London.
Selection will be by interview in person. You will have a full induction in your first few weeks in the job.
Salary
£40,000 – £46,000
£1,000 yearly CPD budget
25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
Hours
Monday – Friday – 9am – 6pm

Essential requirements
Driven, independent & motivated physiotherapist with orthopaedic/ MSK and home visit experience
At least 3 years post graduate experience with evidence of work in Orthopaedic rehab and recovery.
Previous experience of working in the community and visiting clients in their own home.
HCPC registered
CSP registered
Mandatory training completed (yearly requirement)
Car owner & full UK licence
Role & responsibility
Delivering high quality orthopaedic physiotherapy to clients throughout London
Independent management of caseload of varying surgical procedures
Expert assessment skills adapting to all relevant orthopaedic procedures
Appropriate use of outcome measures
Client led goal setting
Effective treatment skills to include the following:
Exercise prescription and progression
Manual techniques to increase range of movement
Gait re-education
Progression of balance and proprioception
Advice and education of surgical procedures
Appropriate progression of clients through post-op surgical protocols
Provide updated home exercise programmes post treatment
Build rapport with clients and their families/ carers
Make effective use of evidence-based treatment
Write notes in timely manner following all CSP guidelines
Have excellent organisational skills to manage non-clinical and admin tasks each day
Communicate clearly with team manager and admin team
Communicate appropriately with other healthcare professionals
Provide progress reports for consultants and insurance companies
Always adhere to HCPC & CSP guidelines
Maintain CPD independently and through company funded CPD courses
